What is your refund policy?

Apologies but tickets are non-refundable, unless we need to cancel the class in unexpected circumstances in which case you will be fully refunded.

Do I need to bring my own materials?

No, we provide all the materials necessary for Shodo calligraphy. So please just bring yourself! If you would prefer to use your own fude brush etc, please feel free to bring them with you.

Is Shodo calligraphy difficult for total beginners?

Accepted Answer

Blair will start the session with easy exercises and focus on the enjoyment of using the materials. So you don't need to worry!

Can young people join the class?

Sorry our class is for ages 16+ only.

I don't know anything about Japanese Shodo calligraphy. Do you have any example of what you do?

Question 6

I have some mobility issues, can I access the building?

Accepted Answer

Although the room we use on the ground level, there are several steps up to the front door, and there is no lift in the building. Occasionally we use a room on a different floor which would mean you need to go down a flight of stairs.
